Artist Ruken Adıbelli’s exhibition “Plastic Reformation”—which demonstrates that plastic waste can hold artistic value alongside its environmental implications—was presented to art enthusiasts at Yapı Kredi bomontiada GALERİ from May 27 to June 1 with the support of Parex. The artworks, created by Adıbelli using an upcycling approach, attracted significant interest during this brief run.

The exhibition’s preview, attended by the Parex team, members of the press, and special guests, took place on May 26 and featured a concert by Fungistanbul, a band that creates music using waste materials.

Art enthusiasts visiting the exhibition throughout the week showed great interest in the artworks, which were created by transforming waste plastic bags using only their original colors—without the use of paint. Conveying both aesthetic appeal and environmental messages, these works fostered a strong sense of awareness among the audience.

Demonstrating its respect for nature not only through its products but also through art- and awareness-focused projects, Parex once again united its sustainability vision with art through this exhibition.
